One thing we truly adore about remasters of classic games is that they retain the fun element such as cheat codes. Keep in mind that NONE of the cheats will work in Multiplayer mode unless the option in the bottom right corner “Enable Cheats” is checked. Cheats nowadays feel like a thing of the past bar a few series like Grand Theft Auto that still incorporate them. Then, you hit “enter” again to see the effect. This is the place where you enter the codes.
Age of empires cheats code#
To enter a code you should hit the return (“enter”) button, so as to open the chat window. For example, if you are looking for a cheat connected to the map, it will be marked as “Map” in the column Type, or if you are looking for a cheat that affects on animals – “Animals” and etc. All tables are sortable, so you can easily find the cheat you need. First 3 are more or less self-explanatory but “Type” is a new one that will help you find a cheat by the area it affects. The list is divided into expansion packs and each table consists of 4 columns – Where to type the code, Code, Effect, and Type. So, we’ve decided to compile a list of all Age of Empires 2 cheats in one place, by creating this mega list. Sure, there are many other pages that have already listed some of the cheats, however, it was hard for us to remember from where we had found that awesome cheat we used last month. First, we are huge fans of the AOE series, especially Age of Empires 2, and second, we do use cheats but only for fun.
